Mr Md Iftekhar Zobaed is the Chairman of MRZ Group. After completion of his studies in Physics from Dhaka University, he spearheaded many successful ventures which have formed today’s MRZ Group with subsidiaries in a wide range of industries, including Construction & Real Estate, Medical Equipment, Military, Police and Bangladesh Special Forces Equipment supply, Engineering, Agro-fisheries, Fire Safety and energy sector. With his able leadership, MRZ Group has become one of the most capable and diversified business houses in the country.

Major General (Retd) Md Salahuddin Miaji, reds, psc is the Adviser of MRZ Group since his retirement. He has served in Bangladesh Army in Artillery Core and performed various Technical and Tactical duties over 32 years. During his service tenure, he has performed the duty as Military Secretary to Prime Minister and Military Secretary at Army Headquarters. He has also been awarded with many medals and honors for his exceptional service. With his extensive experience and knowledge in the military field, he brings a unique perspective to the MRZ Group and offers valuable advice on strategy and operations. His expertise in tactical and technical operations has been crucial in ensuring the success and growth of the MRZ Group.

Lt Col (Retd) Md Motlub Ahmed (psc) is the Director (Operations & BD) of Z3 Corporation of MRZ Group. He is a seasoned professional with a wealth of experience in the military. He served in many strategic positions in Army Headquarters, as well as in the office of Army Chief during his service tenure. He has a deep understanding of the defense industry and has played a key role in the development of various projects related to the field. He brings a strong leadership background and strategic thinking to Z3 Corporation. With his expertise and dedication, he is well-positioned to guide Z3 Corporation in achieving its goals and objectives.

Commodore (Retd) Ziaul Ahsan Shaikh (TAS, psc, BN), BSc (Croatia) is the Vice Chairman of MRZ Group. He has served in Bangladesh Navy and performed various tactical duties and commanded various Naval Ships over 28 years. During his service tenure, he has attended many foreign courses on Naval Administration and Command, and gathered vast knowledge. He has also gained experience in various areas of naval operations including maritime security and strategic planning. With his wealth of experience and knowledge, he is a valuable asset to the MRZ Group.

Brigadier General (Retd) M H Salahuddin is the Adviser of MRZ Group. He served in country’s some of the most sensitive and critical roles such as the Director General of Anti Corruption Commission, Deputy Director General of DGFI, Director of National Security Intelligence, Commanding Officer of Army Security Unit, etc. During his tenure in these positions, he has gained a wealth of knowledge and experience in areas such as anti-corruption, national security, intelligence gathering and army operations. He has also been awarded many medals and honors for his exceptional service. With his wealth of experience and knowledge in these critical areas, he brings a unique perspective to the MRZ Group and offers valuable advice on strategy and operations. His expertise in these fields has been crucial in ensuring the success and growth of the MRZ Group.

Mr Zubayr Shahid is the Managing Director of MRZ Group. He graduated in Business & Marketing from Coventry University, UK. He served in leading positions in Telecommunications Industry in the UK before setting up his own business in Construction & Real Estate there. He works as the architect of planning and implementation of MRZ Group, and leads the private sector of the group. He is known for his strategic thinking and strong leadership skills, which became essential to the success of the group. Under his leadership, Z3 Corporation has become the most reputable, turn-key fire safety firm in the country.

Captain (Retd) K M Behzad Akbar (psc, BN) is the Director of Ship Building & Dredging division of MRZ Group. He is an engineer by profession and served in Bangladesh Navy for more than 30 years in various strategic positions, including at Khulna Shipyard as the former Managing Director. He has vast experience in the shipbuilding industry and has been instrumental in modernizing the shipyard and bringing it to international standards. He has also played a key role in the expansion of the shipbuilding and dredging division of MRZ Group. With his extensive knowledge and experience, he is well-equipped to lead the division to new heights of success.
